Hanwha Life Esports vs T1 Predictions

Hanwha Life Esports and T1 will face off on Saturday, April 12, in the second week of League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2025 Rounds 1-2. As a clash between two of the league's top dogs, this will be an important game to win for both sides as they look to gain a lead in the regular season title race.

On paper, this should be an interesting game between two of the league's top dogs. However, considering Hanwha Life Esports' recent results, I would not have much faith in them and their chances to defeat T1.

Hanwha Life Esports are in concerning shape, having shot themselves in the foot in the last two series – against KT ROlster and DN Freecs. They nearly paid the ultimate price both times but managed to manoeuvre their way to a win. HLE will not have such an easy time doing the same against T1.

  • T1 look more stable
  • Hanwha Life Esports have the tendency to throw away leads
  • The wrong team is favoured

Head to Head

Hanwha Life Esports Form

Hanwha Life Esports are 2-1 this split, with a 0-2 loss against Gen.G and two victories against KT Roster (2-1) and DN Freecs (2-1).

Even though HLE hold a positive record, they have not looked great and are not even remotely as good as they did in LCK Cup 2025. Most of it has to do with HLE's tendency to bungle their leads for which they nearly paid with a loss against the qualitatively inferior DN Freecs.

On paper, this is a very good team – and they have results to back it up with LCK Cup 2025 and First Stand 2025 titles. But Hanwha Life Esports seem to have turned into a pumpkin and enter this match in rough shape.

Hanwha Life Esports Squad & Team News

Hanwha Life Esports have not made any roster changes.

  • Choi "Zeus" Woo-je – top lane
  • Han "Peanut" Wang-ho – jungle
  • Kim "Zeka" Geon-woo – mid lane
  • Park "Viper" Do-hyeon – ADC
  • Yu "Delight" Hwan-jung – support

T1 Form

T1 have been holding on well this split, managing two wins from the first three games – against DRX (2-0) and KT Roster (2-0). Their only loss came against their rivals Gen.G who bested T1 2-1 in the final match of Week 1.

T1 enter this match off a dominant victory against KT Rolster on Thursday, when they proved once more that they're a class above any mid-table team. The first map of the series ended in just 24:33 which is the shortest map of the split, but what's even more impressive is that T1 dominated with Smash as the starting ADC.

The young player replaced Gumayusi for the entire series, and while there is no information on whether T1 will continue with Smash this weekend, he proved his worth and should not be considered a handicap.

T1 Squad & Team News

T1 have yet to announce any roster changes.

  • Choi "Doran" Hyeon-jun – top lane
  • Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok – mid lane
  • Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyung – ADC
  • Sin "Smash" Guem-jae – ADC
  • Ryu "Keria" Min-seok – support

Verdict

Hanwha Life Esports enter this match priced as favourites, which make no sense. Admittedly, they are LCK Cup 2025 and First Stand champions, but their performances this split have left a lot to be desired.

In their last two outings against KT Rolster and DN Freecs, Hanwha Life Esports displayed just how prone they are to make critical errors, and while they did not get properly punished for it, T1 are sure not going to let mistakes slip.

T1 to win at plus money is hard to pass on.
