As those results would suggest, Invictus Gaming can be very up-and-down. They looked toothless against Bilibili Gaming, had to edge past FPX and then bested Weibo Gaming, which should present a tougher challenge.

On the other hand, WBG are not exactly known for being a consistent team, so that victory with a pinch of salt.

Even though WE won the two series, JD Gaming and Top Esports did not show up, which is a fair reason to make anyone question Team WE's accomplishments this playoffs.

This is a match between two teams that are hard to figure out. Invictus Gaming have a higher ceiling and field better players, but they've had a much softer schedule to this point and did not look too stable in the three games played.

Team WE have been way more consistent, but they also had the luxury of facing Top Esports and JD Gaming on their bad days (or so it seems). If you believe Team WE were gifted the two wins and are actually not that good, Invictus Gaming are an obvious choice.

But even though JDG and TES did not perform as well as they could've, Team WE deserve recognition for taking advantage of the opportunity and winning the two series.
