T1 kicked off their LCK 2025 Road to MSI campaign with a 3-1 victory over KT Rolster, which was hardly shocking.

While KT Rolster were in great shape, they have had it easy, beating Dplus KIA and Nongshim RedForce, who did not seem to come to play in their meetings with KT.

T1 proved to be an entirely different beast, and the eye test proves that T1 took their time to prepare for KT Rolster, utilising their individual quality superiority to come out ahead. KT took the first map, but from there, it was one-way traffic for T1.

While that seemed like a straightforward win for T1, they're now set to face a much tougher opponent, whom T1 have yet to beat this season.

Hanwha Life Esports enter this match after a very close and competitive 2-3 loss against Gen.G in Round 3 of LCK 2025 Road to MSI. It, however, was also a painful loss for HLE.

Viper and his crew opened the series by winning two maps, yet that was when Gen.G turned things around, with better drafting and overall a better approach to the game. Gen.G did a great job targeting Zeka, which worked well, and possibly gave T1 an idea of how to approach this game.

Despite the loss, Hanwha Life Esports played well and proved they could take down Gen.G, but like many times before, Gen.G simply proved to be too good.

Hanwha Life Esports have beaten T1 twice before this season, and there is a good chance they can do it again in a best-of-five series. T1 played well against KT Rolster in the previous round, but considering the level of the opponent they faced, it is fair to say that T1 have had it easy.

Hanwha Life Esports, on the other side, nearly bested Gen.G in the previous round, and that result holds much more weight than T1's 3-1 victory.

While T1 are known to turn on their jets in high-pressure situations, they have failed to crack HLE in the last two meetings, so there is little to suggest they can do it now.
