Team Liquid won the LCS 2024 Summer regular season and deservingly so. They were the best-performing LoL esports team in the league which likely has to do with the experience they gained playing in international events.

Whether they are actually better than Cloud9, assuming both teams play at 100%, is up to debate. But as we've learned, top teams from the regular season, namely FlyQuest, Cloud9, and Team Liquid, are a tier above everyone else and it shows in their past results.

So it's not too surprising to learn that Stake and other top bookmakers have Team Liquid priced as 1.10 favourites, giving them over a 90% chance of winning the series.

100 Thieves had it easy in the opening series of the LCS 2024 Championship when they swept the lifeless Dignitas. But even had 100 Thieves beaten a stronger version of Dignitas, it would seem highly unlikely they would find any success against Team Liquid.

Team Liquid is a tier above any team besides Cloud9 and FlyQuest, including 100 Thieves, who are arguably the weakest team that reached the playoffs. While Team Liquid isn't flawless, and there is a world where they shoot themselves in the foot, this is their game to lose.
