Ultra Prime vs Anyone's Legend Predictions

Ultra Prime and Anyone's Legend will clash on Monday, February 8, in the third week of the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2024 Spring. It'll be their first meeting of the 2024 season, and based on the LoL esports betting odds, Anyone's Legend should win without any issues.

Esports bookmakers have Anyone's Legend priced as 1.30 favourites for the upcoming match and Ultra Prime as 3.40 underdogs. Considering what Ultra Prime have shown so far, it's fair to doubt them, but do they deserve to be priced at such odds?

Head to Head

Anyone's Legend and Ultra Prime have yet to meet this season.

Ultra Prime Form

Ultra Prime are one of the main candidates for the LPL 2024 Spring wooden spoon. They're 1-3 with defeats against Invictus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up and LGD Gaming, and one win against FunPlus Phoenix, who they beat at the end of last week.

The win against FunPlus Phoenix was impressive for UP's standards, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Ultra Prime aren't performing well. So even though they're not up against a very formidable opponent, it's more than fair to doubt their chances to win.

Ultra Prime Squad & Team News

No changes for Ultra Prime.

  • Zhang "Decade" Hua-Xin – top lane
  • Yang "H4cker" Zhi-Hao – jungle
  • Zhang "Yuekai" Yue-Kai – mid lane
  • Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-Chuan – ADC
  • Sun "Jwei" Jun-Wei – support

Anyone's Legend Form

Anyone's Legend are 2-2 after two weeks of play, with wins against FunPlus Phoenix and LGD Gaming and two defeats against Team WE and Bilibili Gaming.

Anyone's Legend had to play two good teams in Team WE and FPX and one top-tier squad in Bilibili Gaming and produced results that were expected of them. More importantly, AL performed well in all of those series and have only been completely stomped in one – against BLG.

This is still not a very good League of Legends team, and their close win against LGD Gaming on Friday proves it. Still, many believe that even in their current shape, Anyone's Legend should handle Ultra Prime.

Anyone's Legend Squad & Team News

Anyone's Legend have not announced any changes.

  • Wang "Hery" He-Yong – top lane
  • Kim "Croco" Dong-beom – jungle
  • Cui "Shanks" Xiao-Jun – mid lane
  • Wang "Hope" Jie – ADC
  • Kim "Kael" Jin-hong – support

Ultra Prime are serious candidates for the worst team in the league, and their past showings don't inspire much confidence. They're weaker than most other squads, and that includes Anyone's Legend.

But while AL are arguably stronger, they've not looked amazing recently, and their 2-1 win against LGD Gaming makes you question their ability to deliver. I would still consider Anyone's Legend as the better team, but at these LoL betting odds, I prefer over 2.5 maps.
