Dallas Fuel are not quite the main favourites to win the Overwatch League, and based on what they've shown this season, that's a fair assessment. However, the Fuel have looked much better in September, when they made the semifinals of Overwatch League 2023 - Summer Stage Knockouts and won the Overwatch League 2023 - Play-Ins.

The late resurgence gives Dallas Fuel fans some hope that their team can produce a miracle run and go all the way, which wouldn't be the craziest thing that has happened in the OWL, but a lot will have to go right for the Fuel for that to happen.

The big concern is their poor record against top teams namely the Huangthou Spar, who beat Dallas Fuel three times since the start of August. But against other teams, Dallas Fuel have looked great, and that includes a 3-0 sweep of their next opponent, Seoul Infernal, who the Fuel crushed at the end of July.

Seoul Infernal don't have a lot of pressure on them to perform, which is a big positive, and it could help them play more relaxed. Although the same can be said about the Fuel, Dallas Fuel are under a bit more pressure due to the hype which came due to their late resurgence.

Talent-wise, Seoul Infernal are in a good spot. This team fields solid players, and this is a very flexible squad which can get hot at the right time to cause some damage. But while Seoul Infernal can do it, it's all a big "what if", which has been the case with this team throughout the season – you don't know how to feel about the Infernal, who have a big upside but are also capable of producing some stinkers.

Dallas Fuel are expected to defeat Seoul Infernal, and it seems like that's a fair assessment. Seoul Infernal have a big upside and can surprise many, but unless they find a way to step up, this is Dallas Fuel's game to lose.

Dallas Fuel field Choi "Hanbin" Han-been who has shown incredible form lately, and if he can keep playing at this level, the Fuel can make it far. And while Seoul Infernal might have an answer ready for Hanbin, there are other players on the Dallas Fuel roster the Infernal have to watch out for.

Seoul Inferna will likely win one map, but anything beyond that seems unlikely.
