NTMR Form

NTMR ended the qualifiers with a promising 6-1 record. They've looked very scary in the group stage, dropping just one game against Geekay Esports in the final week – and even that was a highly competitive 2-3 loss.

While a relatively new roster, NTMR made it work quickly and demolished both Team Liquid and Spacestation Gaming, thus quickly making a name for themselves as one of the region's top contenders.

Despite having no star players, NTMR performed like a star roster, making them one of the teams to watch this playoffs.

There is a feeling that Liquid could've done a much better job in OWCS 2025 NA Stage 2, but they seemed to have been struggling a bit trying to implement zeruhh in the lineup. By the fourth week, they've found some rhythm and even forced Geekay to five maps (2-3), which is inspiring.

Liquid seem to be getting better and better as time goes on. So even though they've left a couple of wins on the table, Liquid just might do well in the playoffs.

Verdict

NTMR v Team Liquid

This should be an entertaining game between a known Team Liquid roster and the new lineup of NTMR, who looked extremely good in the group stage. While NTMR hit the ground running, Liquid needed some time to find traction, but once they did, Liquid started performing like the Liquid we know from Stage 1.

The big question is whether Team Liquid have improved enough to derail the high-flying NTMR. While it would not be the most shocking result, NTMR have looked too good and too consistent for me to doubt them.
