T1 Form

T1 showed major improvements compared to Stage 1 and started playing with much more consistency. They placed third in the regular season with a 6-2 record. Then they placed first in the seeding decider, beating Crazy Raccoon, All Gamers Global, and ZETA DIVISION to book a direct invite to the semifinals.

With the form T1 have shown, it is fair to believe they can contest the title, especially after their dominant showing against Crazy Racooon, who were not long ago billed as the OWCS Korea top dogs.

The sky seems to be the limit for T1. All they have to do now is show the same level of performance and consistency in the playoffs.

ZETA DIVISION were very dominant in Stage 1 and 2024, but slowed down in Stage 2 following roster adjustments. While ZETA DIVISION have had their moments, they ended the regular season with a 5-3 record, barely securing a top-four finish and a spot in the Seeding Deciders.

The departure of support Park "Viol2t" Min-ki was a major blow for the team, but even without one of the best Overwatch players in history, ZETA DIVISION have held on relatively well.

There were some growing pains as they had to adjust to a life without Viol2t, but towards the end of the group stage, ZETA DIVISION found more traction. The big problem, however, is the weak support lineup, which could be an issue in the playoffs.

On a more positive note, ZETA DIVISION crushed ONSIDE Gaming in the first round, which is a good sign.

T1 v ZETA DIVISION

T1 are billed as favourites, which makes a lot of sense. They looked great in the group stage and even better in the seeding decider, where T1 bested Crazy Raccoon, All Gamers Global, and ZETA DIVISION.

The fact that T1 crushed Crazy Racoon twice is a good enough indication that T1 came to play and that it will take a lot to stop them. ZETA DIVISION are no pushover and can definitely hold their own against any team in the league.

While their results are not as flashy, ZETA DIVISION played very well in the first round of the playoffs, and if they can show the same performance this weekend, they can keep this game close.
