While a talented and experienced roster, Secret have not shown enough to be considered a serious threat to win the Major, so it is hard to find a good case to take their side over Team Falcons, who are one of the strongest teams travelling to England.

Falcons have their own issues, namely their tendency to beat themselves. However, even with that in mind, it is hard to imagine a world where Secret cause an upset.

Team Falcons enter RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major Swiss Stage as the no.1 seeded team from the MENA region and one of the main favourites to win the Major title. Before their trip to Birmingham, Team Falcons also won Saudi eLeague 2025 - Major 1, granted that does not prove much besides the fact that they are in good shape.

Since the turn of the year, Team Falcons have dropped just three games – one against Infinity and two against MENA's second-seeded team, Twisted Minds. This translates to a 33-3 record.

Falcons were already a force to be reckoned with in 2024 when they placed second in London Major and the Esports World Cup 2024 and ended their RLCS 2024 - World Championship run in the semifinals, where they narrowly lost to the eventual champions, Team BDS.

Team Secret Form

Team Secret fields a fairly experienced roster. Kv1 and Motta have made to many LAN events in their relatively short Rocket League esports careers, which includes the most recent world championship, where Secret placed 12th-14th.

Beyond experience, this is a solid roster, with plenty of talent who are exciting to watch purely due to the fact of what each individual player is capable of doing.

However, despite Secret's potential, they have proven to be no match for FURIA domestically, who reigned supreme as South America's top team, leaving Team Secret with two silver medals from SAM Open 1 and Open 2. Having struggled to beat FURIA, Secret are unlikely to have an easier time against the Falcons.

Team Falcons v Team Secret

Team Secret are a quality team, and they deserve some recognition for being South America's second seed. However, I do not seem them posing a threat for Team Falcons, who should be viewed as serious candidates to finish at least top-four.

I would be cautious about trusting the Falcons to deliver when faced with other top contenders, as they have a tendency to beat themselves. But they will want to hit the ground running, and facing a weaker team like Team Secret is a perfect opportunity for them to do so.
