Valorant Betting Tips & Live Streams
About Valorant
Valorant, the first-person tactical hero shooter game, was developed and published by Riot Games in 2020.
It's esports scene took almost no time to get up and running - just a few months after the game’s release, Riot announced the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT).
The game and tournament was met with so much popularity that it was nominated for the Best Esports Game, Best Multiplayer, and Best Community Support at The Game Awards 2020.
In February 2021, Riot announced a tournament initiative as part of the VCT called the Game Changers, a platform for Valorant players that are women or from marginalized genders.

Valorant eSports Structure
In September 2022, Riot announced a new structure for the Valorant Champions Tour. It will now include new international leagues, and the Domestic and Game Changers Leagues have been expanded to include more teams and different regions.
Riot plans to introduce a new in-game competitive mode to “help foster and highlight up-and-coming talent in addition to the standard ranked ladder.” They allow top-ranked teams an opportunity to qualify for their respective domestic leagues.
Three International Leagues will take place as part of VCT 2023. They are LAN tournaments that represent each of the three major regions:
- The Americas League, to be held in Los Angeles
- The EMEA League (Europe, Middle East, Africa), to be held in Berlin
- The Asia-Pacific League, to be held in Seoul
Ten partner teams invited by Riot will contest each league.
The Masters are global LAN events that feature top teams from regions all over the world. There were two Masters tournaments conducted in 2022 with the first taking place in Reykjavík and the other in Copenhagen. These global events will remain in VCT 2023.
The global events feature the top teams from each International League, and the best ones qualify directly for VCT Champions.
In 2021, the top teams from the Challengers League would seed through to the Masters, but with the changed format, the top Challengers teams will have to first compete in the International League to qualify.
Teams that are unable to qualify for VCT Champions through the Masters will still have another shot through competing at the Last Chance Qualifiers. Each of the winning teams will seed through to Champions.

The first event of VCT 2023 is the Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, featuring 30 teams from the major territories:
