They have so far lost to G2 Esports (0-2) and NRG (1-2), and last week they got swept by Leviatan (0-2) with 4-13 on Ascend and 5-13 on Pearl. While there are other struggling teams in this group, FURIA take the cake as the weakest, having shown little to nothing over the three series played.

That game should've ended in Cloud9's favour. They won Pearl (13-9), lost overtime on Lotus (13-15) and came a couple of rounds short on Haven (11-13).

While that defeat might've lost Cloud9 their chance to claim the no.1 seed in Group Omega, it was not a bad beat. This is a quality roster that should be competing for the VCT Americas title by the end of the stage.

Cloud9 are heavy favourites for this match, and there is little to suggest this is a wrong assessment. They've been in excellent form this stage and have made a good case for themselves as one of the region's top-four teams.

FURIA on the other side, are 0-3 and are arguably the worst-performing squad of VCT Americas, having shown no redeeming qualities.

This should be a quick 2-0 sweep for Cloud9.
