BBL Esports are 2-1 ahead of the fourth week of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1. They've beaten Karmine Corp (2-1) in the first week and added a 2-0 sweep of KOI last week. Meanwhile, BBL's only loss came against the surging Team Liquid.

Overall, BBL Esports have been holding on well, and they seem to be improving. Consistency is still not quite there, but with Magnum joining the roster for Stage 1, BBL Esports have been showing more signs of life.

On the other side, I'm not quite sure if BBL Esports' map pool is good enough for them to do any serious damage during this stage. They've yet to show enough, and while it's only been three games, Icebox could be their main weakness.

BBL Esports are expected to win on Thursday, and while it is hard to argue with that, their map pool seems lacking. Especially Icebox is not their best map and knowing there are other maps BBL likely did not prepare for, Gentle Mates should be in a good position to take one.
