GIANTX vs Fnatic Predictions

GIANTX and Fnatic will face off on Thursday, April 17, in the fourth week of VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2025: EMEA Stage 1, in what promises to be a one-sided game.

Fnatic are viewed as massive favourites, having been on a roll since the start of the stage with three straight victories and a 6-1 map record. GIANTX have not been nearly as successful, with no victories to their name and a worrying 2-6 map record.

Having failed to show much over the first three weeks, GIANTX are rightly doubted to accomplish anything this Thursday, and considering how clean Fnatic have looked this stage, it is hard to question their chances to sweep.

  • Fnatic have yet to lose a game this stage
  • GIANTX are winless
  • Another 2-0 sweep for Fnatic is likely on the cards

Head to Head

Fnatic and GIANTX have yet to meet this season.

GIANTX Form

GIANTX enter the fourth week of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 with a 0-3 record. They've so far lost against Team Vitality (0-2), Team Heretics (1-2), and Natus Vincere (1-2).

Admittedly, GIANTX have not had the easiest schedule, but it is not like things will get any easier for them this week, as they face off against Fnatic, who've made a solid case for themselves as the region's top squad.

On a more positive note, GIANTX took maps off Heretics and Natus Vincere. They stole an overtime win on Split (13-11) against Heretics and picked up the first map (Fracture) against NaVi with 13-9.

GIANTX Squad & Team News

GIANTX have not announced any roster changes.

  • Emil "runneR" Trajkovski

  • Miłosz "westside" Duda

Fnatic Form

Following a slow start to the season, which saw Fnatic crash out of VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff in fifth-sixth place, they've turned on their jets for Stage 1, picking up three victories across the first three weeks of play.

Fnatic swept Natus Vincere (2-0) in the opening week, reverse-swept Team Vitality in the second week, and last Friday added another 2-0 sweep against Apeks.

With three victories under their belts and just two more rounds to go, Fnatic have set themselves up nicely to claim the no.1 seed in Group Alpha, and given their success against NaVi and Vitality, it is easy to believe Fnatic will not struggle against GIANTX either.

Fnatic Squad & Team News

No changes for Fnatic.

Verdict

Fnatic have been in excellent shape since the start of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, with dominant victories against teams much stronger than GIANTX. On the other side, GIANTX have not come close to taking a series yet, and there are several reasons for it.

Individually, GIANTX do not match with other top contenders in VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, and their map pool seems lacking. Their Split and Fracture are decent, but those are two maps on which Fnatic have shown some of their best games this stage.

There is nothing to suggest GIANTX can hold their own against Fnatic.
