LOUD vs Leviatan Predictions

Valorant betting sites have priced LOUD as 1.72 favourites to defeat Leviatan, who enter the series as 2.00 underdogs. Given what the teams showed in the first round, this sounds like a fair assessment, although making any conclusions based on one game isn’t the wisest move.

  • LOUD’s new roster looks solid
  • Leviatan with a slow start to the season
  • It should be a competitive series

Head to Head

Leviatan and LOUD have yet to meet this season.

LOUD replaced a few key pieces ahead of the 2024 season, and parted ways with their best player, Eric “aspas” Santos, who left for Leviatan. However, despite replacing aspas, LOUD found success in the opening round of VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Kickoff, when they swept Sentinels.

It was a fairly close game, with LOUD pulling ahead with 13-11 on Split and 13-9 on Ascent. Cauanzin was the top performer on the team, with a 1.18 rating, slightly ahead of Quick, who ended the series with 1.17.

Tuyz was the only player on LOUD with a negative rating (0.90), although he had a strong showing on Split, with 1.10. Overall, LOUD have looked good and seem ready to face Leviatan. But it’s fair to question whether they deserve to be priced as such big favourites.

LOUD Squad & Team News

LOUD have not announced any changes.

  • Felipe "Less" Basso
  • Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro
  • Cauan "cauanzin" Pereira
  • Arthur "tuyz" Vieira
  • Gabriel "qck" Lima

Leviatan Form

Leviatan signed aspas from LOUD and formed a very scary roster which many consider to be one of the best in the region. However, despite all the talent on the team, Leviatan needed three maps to make it past 100 Thieves.

It was a close game, although it’s fair to say that Leviatan were the better team. They won 13-9 on Bind, then slipped on Split with 3-13 and bounced back with a 13-11 victory on Icebox. Leviatan’s performance on Split is very concerning; however, it’s not like they played a weak opponent.

Still, seeing Leviatan lose on Split as badly as they did suggests that LOUD might want to pick Split in a bid to gain an edge

Leviatan Squad & Team News

No additional changes for Leviatan.

  • Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena
  • Roberto "Mazino" Bugueño
  • Erick "aspas" Santos
  • Agustin "Nozwerr" Ibarra
  • Corbin "C0M" Lee

On paper, Leviatan look like a stronger team, not to mention that they took LOUD’s best player, who should have some idea of how to face his former teammates. Admittedly, Leviatan looked terrible on Split against 100 Thieves, but they could’ve either had a bad day or 100T accidentally exposed Leviatan’s weakness.

In that case, Leviatan will likely want to ban Split for this match, removing the potential advantage LOUD could have over them. That’s not to say that LOUD can’t win. They performed well in their first match and look like a competitive side. But at the current Valorant betting odds, I much prefer Leviatan.
