TALON have been holding on relatively well this stage with two wins from three games played, whereas ZETA DIVISION have managed just one, and even that was a close call.

After a 1-1 start to the season, which included a 0-2 loss to Rex Regum Qeon, TALON bounced back in VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 Week 3, when they reverse-swept Nongshim RedForce with 13-8 on Lotus and 13-6 on Fracture.

It was a solid showing and possibly a sign of good things to come. But at the very least, TALON have gained some momentum, which should help them make it past ZETA DIVISION, who have not looked that good lately.

There is still some concern with TALON as this is a fairly young roster, which shows in their lack of consistency. But based on what they’ve shown this stage, TALON are rightly priced as favourites.

ZETA DIVISION have managed just one win this stage – a 2-0 sweep of Team Secret. They were not as successful when faced with T1 (1-2) and RRQ, who bested ZETA 2-0 last week.

It was a very one-sided game, with Rex Regum Qeon winning with 13-6 on Split and 13-9 on Haven. That is not a very inspiring result, and even in ZETA DIVISION’s sole victory of the season, they did not look too convincing, needing 24 rounds on Lotus and 23 on Icebox to come out ahead.

ZETA DIVISION have given me little to no reasons to feel excited about them and their chances to defeat TALON. Even though TALON have looked a bit shaky and are by no means one of the top contenders, they have been fairly efficient in beating on weaker teams.

I can see ZETA DIVISION take on map, but this is TALON’s game to lose.
