Head to Head

Adelaide have a 10-8 advantage in the head-to-head with eight draws in 26 matches.

Their last meeting saw Adelaide United steal the points in a 3-2 thriller. 16-year-old forward Mohamed Toure sealed the win for the Reds with his 82nd minute goal.

Adelaide United Form

Adelaide have risen up the table after winning six of their last seven matches.

The Reds made a big statement in their 4-1 win away to Newcastle. 19-year-old Kusini Yengi opened the scoring while captain Stefan Mauk and forward Ben Halloran also scored.

Adelaide then saw off Sydney FC in a 1-0 win at home. Winger Craig Goodwin converted the game’s only goal from the penalty spot in the 76th minute.

Their run would come to an end against league leaders Central Coast in a 2-1 defeat away from home.

Adelaide United Injuries & Team News

First choice goalkeeper James Delianov will miss again with a hamstring injury.
Striker Tomi Juric is also expected to be sidelined, with the former Socceroo suffering severe soreness.

The Reds will also be without midfielders Ryan Kitto and Nathan Konstandopoulos due to hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Western Sydney Wanderers Form

Western Sydney are winless in their last three matches.

After several impressive performances, the Wanderers received a reality check in their 4-1 loss to Melbourne City.

They then held Brisbane Roar to a 1-1 draw away from home. Forward Kwame Yeboah opened the scoring early before the Roar equalised just after half-time.

The Wanderers were forced to share the points for the second straight week when they played out a 2-2 draw with Central Coast.

Western Sydney rectified a two goal deficit with forward Bruce Kamau scoring twice in four minutes to rescue a point for his side.

Western Sydney Wanderers Injuries & Team News

Aside from goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic who is out with a shoulder injury, the Wanderers come in with a full squad.
