This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides.

Macarthur Form

Macarthur have responded well following their 2-0 defeat to the Central Coast Mariners in round two.

They held the Wellington Phoenix to a 1-1 draw with Basque import Markel Susaeta scoring his first goal for the club.

The Bulls then returned to the winners list with a 2-1 victory away to Newcastle. French midfielder

Loic Puyo opened the scoring with an overhead kick in the eighth minute, before English striker Matt Derbyshire headed home his first goal for the club in the 23rd.

Macarthur Injuries & Team News

Macarthur come in blessed with a fully fit line-up to take on the five-time champions.

Sydney FC Form

The Sky Blues have experienced a slower than normal start to the new season.

After picking up a 2-1 win over Wellington courtesy of goals from midfielders Calem Nieuwenhof and Luke Brattan, Sydney are winless in their last two.

They were held to a 1-1 draw in the derby against the Wanderers despite taking the lead through winger Kosta Barbarouses, before going down 2-0 to the Mariners in a shock defeat.

The Sky Blues come into this game with only one win from their last four away matches.

Sydney FC Injuries & Team News

Fullback Michael Zullo will be sidelined for another week with a calf issue, while Nieuwenhof will be in contention to start after making a full recovery from his injury.

Meanwhile fans will be eager to see if Brazilian forward Bobo will be selected. The striker has returned to training after completing his quarantine and could be a valuable asset up front.
