  • Perth’s Bruno Fornaroli has scored 10 goals this season (A-League).

Head to Head

Western Sydney have a 10-9 record against Perth with eight draws in 27 encounters.

Their last meeting saw the Wanderers come away with a 3-0 win at home. Striker Mitchell Duke netted a brace, while midfielder James Troisi also scored.

Perth Glory Form

Perth have had a mixed bag of results in their last few matches.

The Glory went down 3-1 to league leaders Melbourne City at home. Winger Chris Ikonomidis opened the scoring with his first goal since returning from injury, with Perth failing to hold on in the end.

They rectified this result with a 2-1 win against Melbourne Victory. Striker Bruno Fornaroli and Ikonomidis were on target in the win, as the Victory missed a penalty and had a player sent off late.

Their next match saw them record a 3-0 win against Western United. Fornaroli and Ikonomidis scored early before midfielder Joel Chianese put the nail in the coffin with 13 minutes to go.

Perth Glory Injuries & Team News

Defender Sebastian Langkamp remains Perth’s only injury, with the German out with a groin problem.

Western Sydney Wanderers Form

Western Sydney have been in fine goalscoring form of late.

After leading 5-1 to Melbourne Victory, the Wanderers scored three late goals before ultimately going down 5-4. Midfielders Graham Dorrans and James Troisi each scored, as did striker Mitchell Duke.

The 2014 Asian Champions responded with a 3-2 win against Sydney in the derby. Duke popped up with a goal, as did new recruit Scott McDonald and winger Bruce Kamau.

The goals kept coming as the Wanderers smashed Western United 5-0. Troisi opened the scoring before Kamau, striker Bernie Ibini and defender Ziggy Gordon all added to the scoresheet.
