Head to Head

Sydney have a 28-9 record in the head-to-head with 12 draws in 49 matches.

Their last meeting ended all square in Perth. Glory striker Bruno Fornaroli opened the scoring, before Sydney equalised through Brazilian forward Bobo to secure a 1-1 draw.

Sydney FC Form

Sydney FC sit five points clear inside the top six after 14 matches.

After going a goal behind against Perth in their previous meeting, the Sky Blues responded through striker Bobo to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw.

Another tight affair followed the next week against Adelaide United. The Reds would go on to win 1-0 after being awarded a controversial penalty late.

The Sky Blues would return to the winners list against arch rivals Melbourne Victory. Sydney took full advantage of Victory going down to ten-men, with the Sky Blues recording a 3-0 win.

Bobo opened the scoring just before the break, while winger Kosta Barbarouses and midfielder Alex Baumjohann added goals in the second half.

Sydney FC Injuries & Team News

Forward Trent Buhagiar is in contention to return from a knee injury to face the Glory.

Left back Michael Zullo will remain sidelined with a calf injury.

Perth Glory Form

Perth have stumbled out of the top six after suffering several defeats over the last month.

The Glory responded well after their 3-0 loss to Western Sydney to earn a point against Sydney FC at home in a 1-1 draw.

Things then appeared to be on the mend when they recorded a 2-1 win over Newcastle. 19-year-old striker Ciaran Bramwell opened the scoring before defender Darryl Lachman sealed the win with his first goal of the season.

But the Glory were unable to carry this momentum forward as they suffered a 2-0 loss to Macarthur the following week.

Perth Glory Injuries & Team News

Winger Chris Ikonomidis is edging closer to a return but will remain sidelined for another two weeks with a knee injury.

Midfielder Nick Sullivan is expected to miss this match with calf soreness.
