Namibia lost three of their last four World Cup 2022 Qualifiers. They were beaten home and away by Senegal and 1-0 at home by Togo.

Their AFCON 2023 qualification group has just three teams. They began with a 1-1 home draw vs Burundi after conceding in the 88th minute.
