Slavia Mozyr started their Belarusian Premier League campaign with a 3-1 defeat at Slutsk. Mikhail Martinovich’s side then recorded three straight wins, starting with a 2-1 home win against BATE Borisov with Nikita Melnikov bagging a brace.

Slavia won 2-1 at Dinamo Brest with Andrey Chukhley and Aleksandr Kotlyarov on target. They beat BATE again in the Belarusian Cup, the 1-0 victory secured thanks to Yuriy Pantya’s early winner.

Slavia Mozyr drew 0-0 at home against Ruh Brest where they played against 10 men for the final 30 minutes. Their last match was a 2-1 defeat at Isloch on Saturday.

They conceded from a penalty and a corner before Francis Narh squeezed one home in the 77th minute. The Ghanaian winger saw a header saved but an equaliser was not forthcoming.

Manager Mikhail Martinovich made changes at Isloch with 20-year-old left back Vladislav Malkevich and striker Ilya Vasilevich getting their first starts of the season. Central midfielders Igor Costrov and Valeri Senko were recalled to the starting side. 

Striker Nikita Melnikov and midfielder Gleb Shevchenko came off the bench and could return to the starting side. Playmaker Andrey Chukhley wasn’t in the squad and was missed.

Forward Maksym Slyusar is out long term with midfielder Aleksandr Anufriev and striker Dennis Tetteh doubtful.

It was an incredible match with goals to Vladimir Khvashchinski, Yevhenii Chahovets and Roman Gribovskiy making it 3-0 before half time. Dinamo were reduced to 10 men in the 58th minute but scored in the 77th and 80th minutes.

It proved to be a sign of things to come for Andrey Razin’s side who lost their next three matches. Minsk lost 2-0 at Energetyk-BGU and 3-0 at home against BATE Borisov.

Minsk’s last match was a 1-0 defeat at Ruh Brest. They started well but found themselves on the back foot for much of the match.

18-year-old right back Gleb Gurban lasted 58 minutes in his first start of the season last week. Manager Andrey Razin could be tempted to make changes here with Montenegro striker Ognjen Rolović a chance to replace Roman Gribovskiy up front. 

Ukraine defender Dmytro Ryzhuk returned to the starting side at Ruh Brest with midfielder Oleksandr Vasyliev remaining on the bench. 

19-year-old Sergey Sazonchik didn’t make the squad, midfielder Oleg Evdokimov has missed the last three matches and is doubtful.
