Shenzhen come into Friday's contest looking to avoid a fourth successive CSL defeat. Christian Lattanzio's side fell to a 3-1 home reversal against Henan in their most recent runout last weekend.

Yet to find much form in the early part of the season, Shenzhen lost four of their first five games played. Xinpengcheng conceded at least three goals in all four defeats.

In possession of a miserable away record, Lattanzio's men lost seven of their last nine road fixtures. Five of those seven losses saw a minimum of three goals scored.
