Two-time World Cup winners Uruguay are the odds-on favourites to claim top spot in Group C.

Host nation USA are second favourites, priced at a tempting 2.37 to finish as group winners. Panama are 17.0 to claim top spot, with Bolivia also rated as outsiders at 17.0 odds.

La Celeste, boasting a talented squad and a rich Copa America history are undoubtedly the team to beat in Group C. Still, they can expect stiff resistance from an improving host nation.

Will Uruguay live up to their favourites tag and cruise through the group? Can the USA's youthful energy and home advantage secure top spot? Or will Panama or Bolivia defy the odds and shake up the group standings?

Led by Marcelo Bielsa, Uruguay arrive in the USA as one of the favourites to go all the way this summer. Listed as third favourites at 6.0 odds to claim a record-breaking 16th title, Uruguay have enjoyed an excellent run of results under the former Leeds Utd boss.

Since the eccentric Argentine's appointment in May of last year, La Celeste have won six and lost only two of ten matches. World Cup qualification wins against both Brazil and Argentina only add weight to the notion that this Uruguayan side can cause serious damage this summer.

Averaging over two goals per game since Bielsa´s arrival, Uruguay boast plenty of attacking fire-power. Veteran strike duo Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani have been included in the provisional squad. Brian Rodríguez, Facundo Pellistri and Liverpool´s Darwin Nunez are also likely to feature prominently this summer.

Fifteen-time winners of this competition, but only once since 1995, Uruguay will have their eyes on the big prize again this summer. Given their attacking quality, La Celeste should safely navigate the section.

Making only their fifth appearance at the Copa America, the host nation come into this summer's tournament with plenty of confidence.

After the disappointment of last summer's penalty shoot defeat to Panama in the Gold Cup, the USA bounced back in style in the CONCACAF Nations League. Gregg Berhalter´s side edged past Jamaica in a thrilling semi-final victory before a 2-0 win in the final against Mexico secured the US's third-successive Nations League title.

Ranked 11th in the world, the third highest of any nation at this tournament, the US will prove a tough side to beat, particularly with home advantage.

Priced up at 2.37 to win the section, Berrhalter´s men should prove too good for Panama and Bolivia. A straight-up fight with the Uruguayans to top the section looks likely.

If you fancy the USA to go all the way this summer, the Stars and Stripes can be backed at 13.0 odds to claim a first-ever Copa America title.

Bolivia

Bolivia enters Copa America 2024 as significant underdogs in Group C. Their recent form, a nine-match losing streak in competitive matches, coupled with a historical struggle to progress beyond the group stage, paints a bleak picture for La Verde.

While veteran goalkeeper Carlos Lampe remains a reliable shot-stopper, Bolivia's lack of offensive firepower and defensive frailties make it difficult to envision a successful campaign.

The lowest-ranked nation competing in the competition, Bolivia are justifiable underdogs, even paired together in a section with fellow minnows Panama. Five defeats from six World Cup qualifiers played over the past year only highlight the scale of the challenge facing Antônio Carlos Zago´s side.

Copa America winners in 1963, La Verde´s recent record is less than inspiring. Bolivia failed to escape the group stages in eight of their last nine appearances since finishing as runners-up back in 1997.

Panama

Panama enters Copa America 2024 as significant underdogs in Group C, facing a daunting task against regional powerhouses Uruguay and the host nation, USA.

While their odds of winning the group are slim, Los Canaleros could still make an impact against a USA side that won´t have happy memories of last summer´s Gold Cup defeat.

Thomas Christiansen´s side finished last year in great form with six wins from seven matches. However, they have since suffered back-to-back defeats against Mexico and the USA in March.

A lack of squad depth and consistent goal-scoring options suggest Panama will struggle to keep pace with their group rivals, although they are likely to finish ahead of a poor Bolivian side.

H2H

Group C of Copa America 2024 brings together familiar rivals with a history of intense battles and unpredictable outcomes. The rivalry between Uruguay and Bolivia is steeped in history, with La Celeste traditionally dominating. The Uruguayans have had the better of recent meetings, picking up five wins from their last six matchups.

Favourites to qualify from the section, USA and Uruguay have faced each other on just four previous occasions. Both teams secured one win apiece.

Panama, the group's outsider, has a limited history against Uruguay and Bolivia. However, they caused a famous upset when beating the USA on penalties at the Gold Cup last summer.

Group C Fixtures

Group C of Copa America 2024 kicks off with a clash between hosts USA and Bolivia at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on June 23rd. The following day, Uruguay takes on Panama at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

The spotlight returns to the host nation on June 27th, as Panama faces the USA at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Uruguay then clashes with Bolivia at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on June 28th.

The final round of group matches sees Bolivia taking on Panama at the Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, while the USA faces Uruguay at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, both on July 2nd.
