Tottenham Form 


Tottenham began their 2024/25 EFL Cup campaign with a 2-1 win at Coventry. Spurs then eliminated Man City 2-1, Man United 4-3 and edged Liverpool 1-0 in the semi-final first leg.

The London side have been in patchy form and are winless in four of their last seven, conceding 14. Spurs’ most recent defeat was a 2-1 home loss against Leicester, which came before a 3-0 win over Elfsborg.

Ange Postecoglou’s side won their first Premier League match since mid-December by beating Brentford 2-0. Tottenham allowed 1.66 XG, faced 20 shots and an own goal and Pape Sarr’s late goal sealed the victory.

Forwards Dominic Solanke, Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner are injured.

Defenders Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogieand Radu Dragusin are sidelined with injuries.

Midfield duo Wilson Odobert and James Maddison and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario are also ruled out.

Son Heung-Min has scored three goals and made one assist in his last four away matches.

VerdictLiverpool have to push for goals at Anfield to overturn their 1-0 defeat in the first-leg. This is likely to open up the contest and BTTS with a Reds victory is a solid pick against Tottenham.
