Charlton ended the League One campaign in fourth place after strong end-of-season form. The Addicks were unbeaten in eight of their final nine games, winning six.

Three of those victories came at home against Huddersfield 4-0, Northampton 2-1 and Burton 3-1. Nathan Jones’ side took 31 points from a possible 33 in their last 11 at the Valley. 

The South Londoners were held to a goalless draw at Wycombe in the play-off semi-final first leg. Neither side had many chances as Charlton attempted seven shots, with three on target.
