Head to Head

Stevenage and Wrexham have one win each in two previous meetings. Boro were 1-0 winners when the sides met earlier in the 2024/25 season.

Wrexham Form

Wrexham are in the League One promotion chase and sit three points behind the top two. The Welsh outfit were unbeaten in nine consecutive matches but dropped points in three of their last four.

The Red Dragon’s dip in form started with a 2-1 defeat at Barnsley. They hit back with a 1-0 win over Peterborough before losing 2-1 at League One’s bottom side Shrewsbury.

Phil Parkinson’s side then gave up a 1-0 lead and drew 1-1 at home against Birmingham. Oliver Rathbone struck after seven minutes and Wrexham conceded the leveller later in the first half.

Wrexham Injuries & Team News

Goalkeeper Callum Burton is injured and won’t make the squad.

Striker Steven Fletcher has scored three goals in his last four home games.

Stevenage Form

Stevenage have moved up to 15th in League One after going unbeaten in nine of their last 11. Boro are unbeaten in four away games during this spell, drawing three and winning once.

Alex Revell’s team put together a three-match unbeaten run without conceding before losing 2-1 against Wigan. The Hertfordshire side replied with a 1-0 win at Leyton Orient in the EFL Trophy.

Another 1-0 road win came next as Stevenage defeated Barnsley at Oakwell. Boro dominated with 13-4 shots and Dan Kemp netted the winner in second-half injury time.

Stevenage Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey is an injury doubt.

Attacker Dan Kemp has scored two goals in his last three appearances and is likely to start.

Verdict

Wrexham’s form has tailed off recently and Stevenage are looking strong. Boro can maintain their unbeaten run on the road and win or draw in League One.
