Morecambe welcome League Two new boys Salford City to the Globe Arena in what promises to be a tight encounter. Salford have become League Two's draw specialists and they are priced at 3.40 to draw this match again on Saturday with bet365. This is excellent value and is my tip for the match.

Morecambe FC Form & Team News

Morecambe are struggling to find form in League Two. They find themselves in 20th place after six games and have only won one of their games so far. They have drawn two and lost their other three matches.

The Globe Arena has not been a happy hunting ground for the Morecambe recently. They have failed to win in five of their last six home matches, their most recent League Two home game saw them lose 3-2 to a late goal against Exeter.

Lewis Alessandra grabbed a brace against Exeter and followed up with another goal in their 3-1 defeat away at Swindon Town. Alessandra is likely to start for the Shrimps alongside experienced striker Shaun Miller.

Jim Bentley has been inconsistent with his line ups so far this campaign and fans are growing frustrated. Arron Wildig and Andrew Tutte are likely to hold their place in midfield despite struggling against Swindon.

Morecambe are priced at 2.70 to win the match on Saturday. They are on a bad run of form at home so this presents little value.

Salford City Form & Team News

After a comfortable victory on the opening day of the season, Salford City have struggled to find form in League Two. The Ammies find themselves in 16th place after six games and are currently English football’s draw specialists.

Graham Alexander’s men have drawn four games in a row in the league, more than any other team in English football. Their most recent game ended in a 1-1 home draw with Leyton Orient with Richard Towell grabbing his first goal for the club.

If the club want to turn those draws into wins, then they need to sure up their defence. The club have not kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven games in all competitions.

They have not struggled up front though and have scored in all but one of their games. Emmanuel Dieseruvwe has bagged three goals so far and is likely to lead the line alongside Adam Rooney against Morecambe.

Salford are narrow favourites to win the match at 2.50. Given their recent form, a draw at 3.40 is much better value.
