Aston Villa will be on the hunt for one of UCL positions in the remaining four Premier League rounds, currently sitting in 7th place three points short of desired zone.

The squad from Birmingham had excellent results in the top flight last month, winning their first four appearances against Brighton 3-0, Nottingham Forest 2-1, Southampton 3-0 and Newcastle 4-1 before losing to Manchester City 2-1.

They are coming off disappointing 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semifinals last weekend, ending that clash with 0.99-1.68 expected goals, 70% possession and 16-9 shots but failed to find the net.

Fulham are having a successful season in the Premier League, grabbing 51 points in 34 matches and hold decent 8th place.

The Cottagers have been quite inconsistent lately though, registering two victories and three defeats in their last five appearances.

They did cause an upset by defeating Liverpool 3-2 in London in early April, but then lost back to back games against Bournemouth 1-0 and Chelsea 2-1.

Marco Silva’s side returned to winning ways last weekend with a 2-1 road victory at Southampton after pulling a comeback in second half, Emile Smith Rowe and Ryan Sessegnon finding the net.

Aston Villa will be without Marcus Rashford, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Fulham are missing Rodrigo Muniz (muscle) and Reiss Nelson (thigh) through injury, while Antonee Robinson is available again after recovering from a knee problem.
