Burnley welcome troubled Crystal Palace to Turf Moor for an English Premier League fixture on Saturday. The Clarets are on a high following back-to-back wins and should see off Palace who are on a three match losing streak.

Burnley Form

Burnley claimed a 3-0 victory at Watford last time out in the Premier League. Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood were both on target, James Tarkowski adding the third in a dominant display where they had five attempts on target and 2.66 expected goals.

It was the second straight win for the Clarets who also claimed a 3-0 victory over West Ham in their previous fixture. Things are going well for Sean Dyche’s men as they have risen to seventh on the table with strikers Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes both back to their best.

Crystal Palace Form

Crystal Palace were beaten 2-1 at home by Liverpool in their last fixture. Wilfried Zaha got their only goal as they failed to capitalize on six attempts on target against the leaders.

Palace are winless in their last five matches, suffering four defeats in that run. Roy Hodgson’s men have been on a steady decline and are now just five points above the bottom three.

Crystal Palace News

Jordan Ayew was taken off in the second half against Liverpool following a quiet outing but should return to the team on Saturday. Wilfried Zaha is set to continue in attack after netting his first goal of the season while Martin Kelly is likely to come in for Joel Ward having replaced the injured right back in the first half against Liverpool.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace Head to Head

Burnley have a 13-10 advantage with 11 draws from 34 previous matches against Crystal Palace. The Clarets also have the upper hand at home with two wins in their last three matches at Turf Moor.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace Betting Odds

Having won their last two matches, Burnley are favourites at odds of 2.25 while Crystal Palace are backed at 3.25 with a draw set at odds of 3.20. Both teams produced over 3.5 goals in their last meeting and a similar outcome is priced at 4.00 with over 2.5 goals paying 2.20 while BTTS is offered at 1.95 at bet365.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace Match Up

Burnley strikers Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood have scored six goals each this season. They are often energetic and hardworking in attack and should cause the Palace defence plenty of problems.

The major problem for Crystal Palace has been a lack of goals with Jordan Ayew currently on a three-match goal drought while Wilfried Zaha has just one Premier League goal this season. They are likely to struggle against a Burnley defence that has kept clean sheets in their last two matches.
