Crystal Palace vs West Brom Predictions

Crystal Palace have been inconsistent this season but have recorded back-to-back 0-0 draws at Selhurst Park recently.

West Brom continue their late bid for Premier League safety and held Newcastle to a 0-0 draw last weekend - the Baggies' third goalless draw in their last five. Another looks on the cards on Saturday.

  • Crystal Palace have drawn their last 2 home matches (Premier League).
  • Crystal Palace have seen under 1.5 goals scored in 3 of their last 4 home matches (Premier League).
  • Crystal Palace have failed to score in their last 3 home matches (Premier League).
  • West Brom have lost 1 of their last 5 matches (Premier League).
  • West Brom have drawn 3 of their last 5 matches (Premier League).
  • West Brom have seen under 1.5 goals in their last 4 matches (Premier League).
  • West Brom are winless in their last 4 away matches (Premier League).

The two sides have met 60 times and West Brom have a 24-21 advantage over Palace, with 15 games drawn.

In the reverse fixture at the Hawthorns, Palace recorded a 5-1 win over West Brom, the Eagles’ biggest win of the season.

Daniel Furlong scored an early own goal and Conor Gallagher equalised for West Brom before half time. But second half braces from Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke gave Palace a resounding win.

Crystal Palace Form

Palace’s three game unbeaten streak in the Premier League ended last weekend as Tottenham comfortably beat the Eagles 4-1.

Christian Benteke cancelled out Gareth Bale’s early goal to level the scores at half time. But Spurs dominated the second period and a brace from Harry Kane and a Bale header earned Spurs all three points.

Palace are now winless in three Premier League matches and have won once in their last six.

Roy Hodgson’s side have also gone three games without a win at home but have recorded back-to-back 0-0 draws at Selhurst Park against Man United and Fulham.

Crystal Palace Injuries and Team News

Palace’s talisman Wilfried Zaha returned to action last weekend against Spurs as a second half substitute. He is likely to feature in the starting XI this weekend.

Roy Hodgson is still without full backs Tyrick Mitchell, Nathaniel Clyne and Nathan Fergusson, who will return to action in April.

Midfielder James McArthur, goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and defensive duo James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho are also ruled out through injury.

West Brom Form

West Brom recorded their third draw in five matches last weekend as they played out a 0-0 draw against relegation rivals Newcastle.

In a game of few chances, Matt Phillips went closest for the Baggies but blazed over the bar from six yards out in the second half.

West Brom have now lost once in their last five games, a 1-0 defeat to Everton two weeks ago, but they remain eight points from safety in 19th.

The Baggies have kept three clean sheets in their last five and conceded just two goals.

Away from home, West Brom have lost three of their last four but earned a 0-0 draw in their last away match against Burnley.

West Brom Injuries and Team News

West Brom have no injury concerns or suspensions ahead of the trip to Crystal Palace.

Sam Allardyce has named the same starting XI for three consecutive matches and is likely to stick with the same team this weekend.
