The 2019/20 Premier League season has a host of teams who could end up facing the drop this year, spearheaded by Norwich, Watford, Southampton and Aston Villa.

English Premier League 2019/20 Relegation Betting Tips

Norwich City started with two wins in their first three home games including a 3-1 win against Newcastle United and a 3-2 win against champions Manchester City. It's been downhill from there, Daniel Farke's side picking up one point in seven matches and striker Teemu Pukki unable to score in those seven games.

The Canaries have tumbled in the English Premier League 2019/20 relegation odds shortening from 1.83 to 1.25 in just over a month. It's looking like a long way back but anything is possible.

Watford lost their first three games of the season and sacked manager Javi Gracia in early September and brought back Quique Sánchez Flores. Results have remained inconsistent, but a 1-1 draw at Tottenham and 2-0 win at fellow relegation candidates Norwich has given the Hornets some optimism that they can turn things around and survive in the EPL for another season.

Southampton were not in any serious relegation discussions at the start of the season. Ralph Hasenhüttl's side suffered a humiliating 9-0 home defeat against Manchester City and have now picked up one point from their last seven Premier League games and lost their last four at St. Mary's Stadium.

The Saints have come in from 4.33 to 2.50 in the EPL relegatio betting market and will be in the discussion as long as their form continues to slide.

Aston Villa are another inconsistent club that are a relegation chance. The Villians have lost their lat three Premier League matches. Two of them were against Manchester City and Liverpool which should provide some hope for Dean Smith's side.

Newcastle United finished a respectable 13th place last season but the club had a horrendous pre-season which saw much-loved manager Rafael Benitez replaced with former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce.

Bruce is a considerable step down from Benitez but the Magpies have eased from 2.25 to 4.33 in the EPL relegation market after picking up 10 points in their last five Premier League matches including wins against Manchester United, West Ham and Bournemouth.
