Last season's Premier League was one of the most exciting title races in the division's history. Reigning champions Manchester City were installed as favourites to win again this season but were overtaken by Liverpool who have gone from strength to strength.

On a dramatic final day back in May, Manchester City beat Brighton 4-1 to secure their first-ever back to back Premier League titles. Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool side had played excellent football but fell just short of claiming the trophy.

Klopp’s men are back with a vengeance this season after sealing their sixth European Championship triumph back in May. The rest of the competition have fallen away with Man City, Leicester, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal all way behind the Reds.

Manchester City opened at 1.50 with Liverpool at 3.60 but that seems like a long time ago.
Liverpool are unbackable favourites for good reason with Jürgen Klopp’s side winning 24 of their opening 25 EPL games this season with a solitary draw.

The Reds have a 22 point lead over Manchester City after 25 matches. Leicester City were big movers, in from 251.00 to 15.00 after a great start to the season on the back of top scorer Jamie Vardy.

English Premier League 2019/20 Winner Betting Tips

Liverpool finished with 97 points last season, a record points haul for a second-place finish. The Reds played some incredible football and at one point were seven points clear at the top of the league.

Liverpool's 3-1 win against Man City at Anfield on 10 November took the Reds eight points clear at the top of the table and the Merseyside club have won 24 of their first 25 matches including wins against all the chasing pack Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester City, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Jürgen Klopp has enormous faith in his squad and Liverpool are certain to finish at the summit of English football.

Manchester City’s quality shone through last season with Pep’s men winning 14 games on the bounce to steal the trophy from underneath Liverpool’s noses. Manchester City have been a force to be reckoned with over the last two seasons, racking up a total of 198 points from the previous two campaigns but they look a shadow of their former selves this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side won the Premier League trophy by the narrowest of margins in 2018/19 but are currently 14 points behind Liverpool after 20 games played and are 1 point behind Leicester City. The loss of Vincent Kompany and injury to Aymeric Laporte hurt their defence and it was too much to overcome this season.

Leicester City have been the big surprise package this season. Brendan Rodgers has done a great job with striker Jamie Vardy scoring 17 goals, the most in the Premier League so far. Wilfred Ndidi is the new N'Golo Kante in defensive midfield and the Foxes look well placed th stay in the top four and get back into the UEFA Champions League.
