Head to Head
Everton have a 45-39 advantage against Leicester in 123 meetings with 36 draws.
Everton Form
Everton have moved seven points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone after improved form. Since sacking Sean Dyche in early January, the Toffees have won three of four matches in all competitions.
The Toffees started their upturn in form with a 2-0 win against Peterborough before a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa. David Moyes’ side responded with a 3-2 home win against Tottenham.
The Merseyside outfit then secured back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season, beating Brighton 1-0. Iliman Ndiaye’s 42nd-minute penalty secured the win as Everton allowed just 0.64 XG.
Everton Injuries
Attackers Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja, Dwight McNeil and Youssef Chermiti are out due to injury.
Defender Seamus Coleman and midfielder Orel Mangala are also unavailable with injuries.
Leicester Form
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester are above the bottom three by one point. The Midlands side have taken just seven points from the Dutchman’s 10 league games in charge.
The Foxes lost seven league games in a row between December and January. That streak was capped with consecutive 2-0 home defeats to Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Leicester ended their losing spell with a 2-1 comeback victory at Tottenham 2-1 on Sunday. They conceded after 32 minutes before Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss replied early in the second period.
Leicester Injuries
Midfielder Wilfried Ndidi is an injury doubt and unlikely to feature.
Winger Issahaku Fatawu and defender Ricardo Pereira are set to miss out through injury.
Verdict
Everton are looking better each week under David Moyes and becoming tougher to beat. Leicester are lacking any sort of form and the solid Toffees can notch another Premier League win.
