Head to Head

Fulham have a 40-28 advantage against Leicester with 17 draws in 85 matches.

Fulham won 2-1 at Leicester in the first meeting this season. Goals to Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro established a 2-0 lead with Harvey Barnes pulling a goal back for the Foxes in the 86th minute.

Fulham Form

Fulham are in the relegation zone after winning two of their opening 20 Premier League matches. They have failed to win in their last 12 matches in all competitions, the last victory in regulation time coming in Leicester on 30 November.

Scott Parker’s side recently played three home games in a row that all ended in defeats. A 1-0 loss against Chelsea and 2-1 loss against Manchester United was followed by a 3-0 loss against Burnley in the FA Cup.

The Cottagers returned to the EPL with a 0-0 draw at Brighton. They struggled to create chances and were fortunate to take a point after having 0.51-2.29 expected goals.

Fulham’s last match was a 2-2 draw at West Brom. Bobby De Cordova-Reid opened the scoring before hitting the post, Ivan Cavaleiro equalising in the 77th minute after converting Harrison Reed’s cross.

Fulham Injuries & Team News

Centre back Terrence Kongolo is still out with achilles tendon problems and midfielder Tom Cairney is out with a knee injury.

Fulham signed striker Josh Maja from Bordeaux on deadline day and he will hope to make the bench here.

Leicester Form

Leicester are five points off top spot in the Premier League. They started 2021 with five consecutive wins including 2-1 at Newcastle, 4-0 at Stoke in the FA Cup, 2-0 against Southampton and 2-0 against Chelsea.

The Foxes won 3-1 at Brentford in the FA Cup 4th round. They fell behind early but hit back with goals to Cengiz Ünder, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison.

Brendan Rodgers’ side drew 1-1 at Everton despite having 65% possession and 19-8 shots.

Leicester’s last match was a disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Leeds. Harvey Barnes opened the scoring in the 13th minute but they were poor defensively, especially in transition.

Leicester Injuries & Team News

Centre back Wes Morgan is injured alongside defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, attacking midfielder Dennis Praet and striker Jamie Vardy.

Expect Ricardo Pereira to replace Timothy Castagne at right back.

Ayoze Perez and Kelechi Iheanacho fight for a spot up front.

Attacking midfielder James Maddison has scored 4 goals in his last 6 matches. He has picked up the slack in Vardy’s absence.
