Eddie Howe’s Newcastle have climbed back into Premier League top-four contention recently. The Magpies are fifth and trail fourth-place Chelsea by goal difference only.

The Tyneside outfit are on a run of four consecutive victories, which started with a 1-0 triumph at West Ham. Newcastle followed that result with a 2-1 EFL Cup final victory over Liverpool and a 2-1 home win against Brentford.

Howe’s side continued their upturn in form with a comfortable 3-0 victory at Leicester. Jacob Murphy scored twice in the first 10 minutes and Harvey Barnes added a third before half time.

Newcastle Injuries

Defensive trio Jamaal Lascelles, Sven Botman and Lewis Hall are unlikely to feature due to injury.

Midfielder Joe Willock is also injured and set to miss out here.

Man United Form

Man United are in the Premier League’s bottom half and are winless in six of their last eight league fixtures.

The Red Devils haven’t won since returning from the international break. United lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest and drew 0-0 with Man City in their previous two league games.

Ruben Amorim’s outfit then drew 2-2 at Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee struck after Lyon’s early opener, but United conceded again in the 94th minute.

Defenders Ayden Heaven, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martínez and Matthijs de Ligt are injured.

Forward Amad Diallo and midfielder Toby Collyer are also out through injury.
