Norwich’s horror season is almost over as they prepare for life back in the Championship. The Canaries have been the whipping boys of the competition and Burnley should be too good at Carrow Road.

Norwich Form

Norwich have been relegated from the Premier League after a poor season back in the top flight. Daniel Farke’s side have the weakest attack and worst defence in the EPL, a bad combination which gave them little chance of survival.

The Canaries have lost their last eight EPL matches including 4-0 at Arsenal, 1-0 against Brighton and 2-1 at Watford. They suffered a 4-0 defeat to West Ham before a 1-0 loss at Chelsea last time out.

Norwich never looked like scoring at Stamford Bridge with 32% possession, two shots and 0.06 expected goals. Norwich have failed to score in 10 of their last 12 English Premier League matches.

Norwich Team News

Norwich are still without left-back Sam Byram, centre-backs Grant Hanley, Christoph Zimmermann and midfielder Moritz Leitner.

Burnley Form

Burnley are undefeated in their last six matches with three 1-0 wins and three 1-1 draws. The Clarets won 1-0 against Watford and 1-0 at Crystal Palace before a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United.

Sean Dyche’s side won 1-0 at West Ham, drew 1-1 at Liverpool and 1-1 against Wolves. Burnley looked to be heading towards defeat at Turf Moor before Chris Wood’s 95th minute equaliser from the penalty spot.

Burnley Team News

Defenders Ben Mee and Matthew Lowton are both injured. They are joined on the sidelines by midfielder Jack Cork and forward Ashley Barnes.

Norwich vs Burnley Head to Head

Burnley have a narrow 11-10 advantage against Norwich with four draws in 25 matches.

Norwich vs Burnley Match Up

Norwich have been terrible at both ends of the pitch and it was a miracle they only lost by one goal at Chelsea. Burnley are a far better football team and should show it on Saturday.
