Nuno Espirito Santo’s Nottingham Forest have dropped out of the Premier League’s top five after a dip in form. The Reds are winless in five of their last nine league fixtures.

Forest were third in the table after winning three successive matches. The Midlands side then lost 2-1 at Aston Villa and 1-0 against Everton at home before beating Tottenham 2-1.

The Reds lost for the third time in four matches following a 2-0 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Man City. Forest conceded early in each half and couldn’t reply with eight shots.

Defenders Eric da Silva Moreira and Ola Aina are unlikely to feature due to injury.

Brentford Form

Brentford are in solid Premier League form and occupy a mid-table spot. The West Londoners have lost only two of their previous nine matches.

The Bees’ most recent defeat was a 2-1 loss at Newcastle. Brentford replied with a goalless stalemate against Chelsea and a 1-1 comeback draw at Arsenal.

Thomas Frank’s side kept up the good form on Saturday by thrashing Brighton 4-2 at the Gtech. Bryan Mbeumo struck twice and Yoane Wissa and Christian Nørgaard also hit the net.

Brentford Injuries

Midfield pair Vitaly Janelt and Josh Dasilva are ruled out.

Attacker Fabio Carvalho and defender Igor Thiago are also sidelined with injuries.
