Sheffield United vs Everton Tips - Blades misery to continue in the Premier League

Having just two points from their first 14 matches, it’s been a terrible season for Sheffield United. This should be another Everton win.

Everton have 54 wins in this fixture, while Sheffield United have 48. There have also been 31 draws shared between the clubs.

Everton won the previous meeting 1-0 in July.

Sheffield United look set for relegation back to the Championship, finding themselves priced at 1/6 to go down.

The Blades have lost all but two of their 14 league matches, with the other two being draws, leaving them rock bottom of the table. They had lost eight consecutive matches before facing Brighton last weekend.

Sheffield United took the lead at Brighton through Jayden Bogle, but drew 1-1 after Danny Welbeck’s equaliser in the 87th minute.

Following a rough patch of form, Everton are back in business after taking 10 points from a possible 12 in their last four league matches.

The run started with a 1-1 draw against Burnley, before they then beat Chelsea and Leicester 1-0 and 2-0 respectively.

Carlo Ancelotti then guided his team to a 2-1 win over Arsenal at Goodison Park last weekend as Yerry Mina headed home the winning goal.

Everton's last match was a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester United in the League Cup quarter-finals. They were on the back foot for much of the match, were close to taking it to extra time but conceded two late goals.

Sheffield United are without Kean Bryan, Jack O’Connell, Sander Berge and Oli McBurnie through injury. John Lundstram is suspended.

Everton have a number of injury concerns in Lucas Digne, Fabian Delph, Allan, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and James Rodriguez. Richarlison was forced off in the first half against Man United and is expected to miss the trip to Sheffield.
