West Ham vs Brighton Tips - Hammers backed to win at home

West Ham are enjoying a far better season than Brighton and are deserved favourites to win in London.

West Ham have performed well against teams around and below them in the table, with recent defeats coming against European contenders.

The Hammers defeated Aston Villa and Leeds either side of a 3-1 loss to Manchester United. The win at Leeds was then followed by a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

West Ham were then beaten 3-0 by Chelsea on Monday night after a Thiago Silva header and Tammy Abraham brace.

Brighton are five games without a win in the Premier League, with the run initially starting with a positive result after drawing 1-1 with Liverpool.

Graham Potter’s side then lost successive matches against Southampton and Leicester before a 0-0 draw with Fulham.

Last time out, Brighton drew 1-1 at home to 10-man Sheffield United. Jayden Bogle opened the scoring for the Blades after John Lundstram’s red card, but Brighton were saved by Danny Welbeck in the 87th minute.

West Ham are without Arthur Masuaku and Manuel Lanzini, but striker Michail Antonio is edging his way closer to fitness.

Brighton will be without Tariq Lamptey, Jose Izquierdo and Florin Andone.
