Wolves host Newcastle in the Premier League at Molineux on Sunday. The hosts are bidding for a third straight win, while Newcastle will want to put a timid performance against Manchester United last weekend behind them.

Wolves Form

Wolves have recovered from a three-game losing spell by winning their last two games with 1-0 victories over Premier League new boys Fulham and Leeds United.

Pedro Neto got the only goal of the game against Fulham, while Raul Jimenez scored the winning goal on Monday night to seal a win over Leeds.

It was a welcome return to form for Wolves, who has been dumped out of the Carabo Cup by Stoke in a 1-0 defeat before losing 3-0 to Man City and 4-0 to West Ham in their previous three matches.

Wolves Team News

Wing-back Jonny Castro is the only absentee for Wolves. Adama Traore has been on the bench for the last two wins and may have to settle for a bit-part role again with an unchanged team likely.

Newcastle Form

Newcastle saw a four-game unbeaten run come to an abrupt end as they lost 4-1 at home to Manchester United last weekend. A Luke Shaw own goal gave the Magpies the lead after two minutes, but it was all downhill from there for Steve Bruce's side.

The Magpies had enjoyed a solid run of form with a 7-0 win over Morecambe in the Carabao Cup followed by a 1-1 draw at Tottenham in the Premier League.

After a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes, Newcastle then progressed to the quarter-finals of the League Cup after getting the better of Newport County on penalties. They then turned in an eye-catching performance to defeat Burnley 3-1, only to then fall to Man United.

Newcastle Team News

Newcastle will make a late call on goalkeeper Karl Darlow's fitness with Mark Gillespie on standby to come into the side. Isaac Hayden shake off a knock.

Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, Dwight Gayle and Matt Ritchie are all out, while Steve Bruce's is expected to make changes after last week's defeat.

Wolves vs Newcastle Head to Head

The last three meetings between Wolves and Newcastle have all ended in 1-1 draws. Prior to that, the sides had shared two wins each. There has only been two wins for the home side in the last 13 head to heads.

Wolves vs Newcastle Odds

Wolves are 1.75 favourites to make it three wins in a row. It is 5.25 for a Newcastle win at Molineux, while a fourth straight draw between these sides is priced at 3.50.
