Goals should be on the cards in Friday's Eredivisie contest in Zwolle.

Over 2.5 goals is my primary pick, while I also fancy a dabble on the over 3.5 goal line being breached at MAC³PARK Stadion.

Friday's Eredivisie contest is the 28th meeting between PEC Zwolle and Vitesse since 2002. Vitesse hold a commanding advantage with 18 wins to PEC's five. The spoils were shared following a 1-1 draw when these sides last met in Arnhem last October.

PEC return to home soil after a third successive Eredivisie draw at AZ last weekend. An exciting second half saw four goals shared as the Blauwvingers recorded their third 2-2 draw in a row.

Placed tenth in the Dutch top flight, Johnny Jansen's side have only managed to win one of their last seven league fixtures. Also short on home form, PEC have won just one of their previous seven matches at MAC³PARK Stadion.

Head coach Jansen is likely to remain unable to call on injured duo Anouar El Azzouzi and Ferdy Druijf. Odysseus Velanas and Eliano Reijnders will continue to deputise for the home side.

With five goals in his last five league appearances, Lennart Thy is again expected to lead the PEC attack.

Vitesse Form

An out-of-form Vitesse suffered another defeat last weekend after falling to a 2-1 home reversal against Feyenoord. Amine Boutrah looked to have rescued a point for the Vites, but Ondřej Lingr's late strike ensured Vitesse finished the weekend at the foot of the division.

With only 12 points collected from 18 matches played this season, Edward Sturing's men are now seven points short of safety. A dismarl run of form has seen Vitesse win just one of their last 11 fixtures since the start of October.

Vitesse will be forced into at least one change, with Andy Visser set to miss out with a head injury sustained in last weekend's defeat against Feyenoord. Joel Voelkerling Persson is a likely replacement in the Arnhem attack.
