Barrow and AFC Wimbledon meet in their delayed FA Cup first round clash on Thursday at Holker Street. The hosts have gone five games without a win, but will the cup tie bring out the best in David Dunn's side?

Barrow Form

Barrow have found life tough back in the Football League with David Dunn's side collecting 13 points from their opening 14 games to sit in 19th spot in League Two.

The Bluebirds have won just twice all season across all competitions and are winless in their last five matches.

But Barrow have been the draw specialists in League Two with seven of their 14 games ending all square. Three of their four cup ties played this season have also ended level at 90 minutes.

Having drawn 2-2 at home to Forest Green on Saturday, Barrow were on the wrong end of a 4-3 thriller against Oldham on Tuesday as they suffered a first home league defeat of the season.

Barrow Team News

With this being Barrow's third game in six days, David Dunn may choose to shuffle his pack.

Striker Dior Angus is pushing for a return to the starting line-up, while fellow midweek substitutes Josh Kay and Chris Taylor could get game time.

AFC Wimbledon Form

AFC Wimbledon saw a five-game unbeaten run in League One ended when they lost 2-1 to Gillingham on Tuesday. Ben Heneghan levelled for the Dons after Kyle Dempsey's early goal, but Dominic Samuel sealed the points for the Gills.

Glyn Hodges' Wimbledon side had drawn three of their previous five matches with stalemates against Burton (1-1), MK Dons (1-1) and Doncaster (2-2).

AFC Wimbledon also recorded 1-0 wins wins over Blackpool and Rochdale during their recent run. The victory over Rochdale on Saturday came courtesy of Ethan Chislett's winner two minutes into injury time.
