Burnley and Norwich will put aside their Premier League struggles as they meet in an FA Cup fourth round clash at Turf Moor. Burnley have shown signs of improvement lately and have won their last two home matches.

Burnley Form

Burnley reached the fourth round of the FA Cup after claiming a 4-2 victory over League One team Peterborough United. Jay Rodriguez netted a brace while Erik Pieters and Jeff Hendrick added further goals in a comfortable win.

The Clarets appear to be returning to their best having won their last two home matches. Sean Dyche’s men will take confidence from their 2-1 victory over Leicester in their last match at Turf Moor.

They also got a shock 2-0 win at Old Trafford against Man United with Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez on target.

Burnley News

Ashley Barnes remains sidelined with injury which means Jay Rodriguez should continue in attack alongside Chris Wood. Winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson is close to a return from a hamstring injury and has a chance of making the squad.

Norwich Form

Norwich claimed a 4-2 victory in the previous round of the FA Cup as they saw off Championship team Preston North End. Adam Idah grabbed a hat-trick while Onel Hernandez was also on target for the Canaries.

Daniel Farke’s men have bigger fish to fry at the moment and will view the FA Cup as a distraction with Premier League survival at the top of their priority list. Their form on the road has been poor all season as they have claimed just two wins in their last 13 away matches in all competitions.

They lost 2-1 to Tottenham in midweek in the EPL despite drawing level through a penalty from Teemu Pukki.

Norwich News

Ben Godfrey is suspended for Norwich while fellow centre back Timm Klose remains sidelined with a knee injury. New signing Lukas Rupp could be set for another run out with young striker Adam Idah in contention to feature following his hat-trick in the previous round.

Burnley vs Norwich Head to Head

Burnley have an 11-9 advantage in the head to head against Norwich with four draws from 24 previous matches. The Clarets have won the last six meetings at Turf Moor, including a 2-0 victory in a Premier League fixture in September with Chris Wood netting a brace.

Burnley vs Norwich Betting Odds

Betway is offering the best odds for a Burnley win at 1.95. A victory for Norwich City is paying 4.00 at bet365 while a draw is set at odds of 3.60. Both teams produced over 5.5 goals in their third-round fixtures and a similar outcome is valued at 15.00.

Over 4.5 goals is priced at odds of 6.50 while over 3.5 goals is offered at 3.25. Over 2.5 goals is valued at odds of 2.00 with BTTS paying 1.80.

Burnley vs Norwich Match Up

Chris Wood continues to be the shining light for Burnley in the absence of Ashley Barnes with the striker scoring two goals in his last three home matches. He already has two goals against Norwich this season and should combine well with Jay Rodriguez who netted a brace in the previous round.

Norwich’s defending has been their undoing this season with their open style of play often leaving them exposed at the back. They are likely to struggle against the physicality of the Burnley forward line.
