Derby vs Man United Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips

Derby and Man United are set to produce an open contest in their FA Cup fifth round clash at Pride Park. Both teams have produced goals in their previous meetings and are expected to continue in the same vein when they meet on Thursday.

Derby Form

Derby head into Thursday’s match off the back of a 3-1 Championship victory at Sheffield Wednesday with Tom Lawrence netting a brace and Jason Knight on target.

The result at Hillsborough ended a run of five matches without a win for the Rams who have struggled in recent weeks. Among their recent results is a 3-2 defeat at Bristol City while they also lost 2-1 against QPR.

The major problem for Phillip Cocu's men is their leaky defence that has failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven matches.

Derby News

Krystian Bielik is the only absentee for Derby with the midfielder ruled out for the rest of the season. Wayne Rooney is likely to be handed a start against his former club.

Anthony Martial has been the biggest beneficiary of United’s recent goalscoring blitz having found the net three times in his last four appearances.
