Dyche’s team suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since September after losing 1-0 at Bournemouth. Everton had nine shots and held out until the 76th minute when they conceded the winner.

Forwards Dwight McNeil and Youssef Chermiti and defender Seamus Coleman are unavailable due to injury.

Midfield pair James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are also set to miss out with injuries.

Peterborough Form

League One Peterborough beat Newport 4-2 and Notts County 4-3 to progress to the third round of the FA Cup. They have won just two of their following nine since defeating Notts County in round two.

The Cambridgeshire side’s most recent win was a 3-0 home victory over Northampton in mid-December. Posh lost their following three against Stockport 2-1, Mansfield 3-0 and Barnsley 3-1 before drawing 2-2 at Burton.

Darren Ferguson’s outfit couldn’t build form after the Burton draw and lost 1-0 at Wrexham on Saturday. Posh were second best, faced 17 shots and eventually conceded in the 87th minute.

Peterborough Injuries

Top goalscorer Kwame Poku is injured and won’t feature at Goodison Park.

First-choice goalkeeper Jed Steer, defender Rio Adebisi and midfielder Mahamadou Susoho are also set to miss out through injury.
