Head to Head
Shrewsbury have won the last two clashes, but they were back in the 2013/14 season. Over the last 10 clashes, things are all square with three wins each and four draws.
Notts County Form
Notts County have been in mixed form with four wins and four losses across their last eight matches in all competitions.
One of the wins was in the FA Cup first round when they got the better of Crawley 3-2 in an entertaining five-goal thriller.
They also repeated the win over Crawley 3-1 at home in League Two in midweek and have now won three in a row at Meadow Lane.
Shrewsbury Form
Shrewsbury were also involved in a five-goal FA Cup first round clash as they edged Colchester 3-2 to progress.
The Shrews have also been an improved run of form of late with one defeat in their last five matches in all competitions, including a 0-0 draw with Exeter in League One on Tuesday.
Goals on the road have been their biggest problem with that draw with Exeter being their fourth successive blank in away games.
Verdict
Notts County have won three in a row at home, while Shrewsbury have failed to score in their last four away games. I'm backing the League Two hosts to cause an FA Cup upset.
