Tottenham vs Norwich Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips

Tottenham continue their quest for domestic silverware with an FA Cup fifth round clash against Norwich at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs often do their best work at home and should have the edge over Norwich who have been poor this season.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham overcame Southampton 3-2 to secure their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Lucas Moura and Son Heung-Min were on target in the second half as Spurs came from behind to win.

Spurs suffered a 3-2 home defeat to Wolves on Sunday but are usually solid at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Jose Mourinho’s men have claimed four wins in their last six home matches and have won their last eight FA Cup home games.

The major problem for Tottenham has been in defence where they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five matches in all competitions.

Tottenham News

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is likely to miss out with a groin problem while forwards Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min remain sidelined with injury. Defender Juan Foyth and midfielder Moussa Sissoko are also on the injury list for Spurs.

Norwich Form

Norwich triumphed 2-1 at Burnley to secure their place in Wednesday’s match. Second half goals from Grant Hanley and Josip Drmic were enough to earn them the win.

The Canaries have endured a difficult campaign this season, although they head to the King Power Stadium with a 1-0 Premier League victory over Leicester City. Daniel Farke’s men have lost two of their last three matches, including a 3-0 hammering at Wolves.

Norwich News

Norwich are without injured defensive duo Timm Klose and Sam Byram who are both ruled out with injury. Forward Onel Hernandez is also expected to miss Wednesday’s match due to injury.

Tottenham vs Norwich Head to Head

Tottenham have a 22-14 advantage with 15 draws from 51 previous matches against Norwich. Spurs have also won three of the last four meetings and claimed a 2-1 victory in the last fixture between both teams at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min were on target for Spurs while Teemu Pukki got the goal for Norwich.

Tottenham vs Norwich Betting Odds

Tottenham vs Norwich Match Up

Lucas Moura was on target in the previous round against Southampton and also scored the last time he faced Norwich. His pace should be a problem for the Norwich defence alongside Steven Bergwijn who was on target last time out against Wolves.

Tottenham’s defensive problems have seen them concede in their last five matches. They are likely to be troubled by Teemu Pukki who was on target in the last fixture against Tottenham.
