League Two Tranmere Rovers host National League North Brackley Town in the FA Cup second round on Friday. Rovers have hit a rich vein of form and can earn a place in the third round draw.

Tranmere have reeled off five wins in a six-match unbeaten run this month. That includes a 2-1 FA Cup first round win over Accrington, defender Peter Clarke striking an 84th minute winner after Corey Blackett-Taylor gave Rovers an early lead.

Kevin Wilkin's Brackley led 2-0 thanks to early goals from Lee Ndlovu and Matt Lowe, while a third from Tre Mitford reinstated a two goal advantage at 3-1. Darren Foxley's second of the game for Bishop's Stortford sent the game into extra time before Brackley edged the shootout.

The National League North side have won one of their four games played since the FA Cup victory. They head to Tranmere on the back of a 1-1 draw against Chester in which Lowe earned his side a point.
