Al Ahly enjoyed an excellent run in May, winning five consecutive Egyptian Premier League matches to clinch the domestic title.

They picked up back-to-back victories against Haras (5-0), Masry (4-2), Ceramica Cleopatra (1-0), and Pharco (6-0).

Last weekend, Al Ahly faced Mexican side Pachuca in a friendly. The match ended 1-1 in regular time, with Trezeguet scoring the equalizer in the second half, but they went on to lose 5-3 in the penalty shootout.

Inter Miami Form

Inter Miami had a difficult May, going four matches without a win. The run began with a 4-1 defeat to Minnesota on 10th May, followed by a 3-3 draw against San Jose, with Tadeo Allende scoring twice in those two games.

They then suffered a 3-0 home loss to Orlando and drew 3-3 with Philadelphia, where Allende, Leo Messi, and Telasco Segovia all found the net.

Their poor form ended in late May with a 4-2 home win over Montreal, and they began June in style with a dominant 5-1 victory against Columbus. Messi scored four goals and Luos Suarez added three across those two wins.

Team News

Al Ahly will be without injured Reda Slim and Mohamed Abdallah, while Samir Mohamed recovered from a muscle injury and is expected to start.

As for the North American side, Jordi Alba, Gonzalo Lujan, David Ruiz and Drake Callender are sidelined with injuries.
