Man City put aside some disappointing Premier League form when brushing aside Urawa Red Diamonds in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola's side were never really troubled as they ran out 3-0 winners in Saudi Arabia.

It was a rare clean sheet for the UEFA Champions League winners with City having struggled defensively in a period that has seen them drop to fourth place in the Premier League.

Brazilian side Fluminense earned their spot in the Club World Cup after lifting the Copa Libertadores with an extra-time win over Boca Juniors in November.

They cruised into the final after recording a 2-0 semi-final success over African champions Al Ahly on Monday.

Fluminense finished the Brazilian Serie A season in disappointing fashion before heading to Saudi Arabia. They suffered back-to-back defeats and finished in seventh place.
